I have recently joined the Therapeutics Development Network at the Seattle Children's Research Institute.  Our work is to serve as a coordinating center, nationally, for Cystic Fibrosis research.  This move follows 16 years of work in infectious diseases research.  Recent advances in treatment of cystic fibrosis call for innovation in approaches to development of emerging interventions.  Our current research priorities include novel clinical trial design, statistical methods for rare outcomes, and complementing clinical trials with use of of real-world datasets.
