Mathematics and Statistics

2017

I am a PhD student in the Biostatistics department. I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgetown University in 2017, and spent 2 years working as a consultant at Bain & Company in Los Angeles before coming to Seattle in the fall of 2019.

My research interests are broad, and include machine learning, statistical genetics and genomics, global health, infectious disease, and cancer. I work with Holly Janes at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center on methods for the design and analysis of vaccine studies, with a particular focus on HIV and malaria. We are currently working with collaborators at the HIV Vaccine Trials Network to design the next generation of clinical trials for HIV treatments (vaccine and otherwise).

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, playing basketball, and cooking.
