My passion is developing statistical methods to help solve pressing global health issues.

I am co-advised by Dr. Jon Wakefield and Dr. Noah Simon. My research revolves around modeling of health data in low and midle-income countries. Currently, I am working on two projects. The first project extends widely used spatiotemporal Gaussian Markov Random Field (GMRF) models to estimate cause-specific mortality. These modeling advances will specifically be used to provide more detailed cause-specific mortality rate estimates using data from the India Million Deaths Study. The second project develops an ensemble modeling technique based on model stacking to improve geostatistical modeling and disease mapping.
