I am a PhD student in the statistical genetics pathway. My main research interests are in statistical genetics and pharmacogenomics. I have been working with Dr Tim Thornton on developing and applying methodology for analyzing genetic studies of complex human traits, with a focus on response to pharmaceutical drugs. Thus far, I have been using machine learning techniques to predict gene expression levels and estimate the genetically determined component of gene expression.
