The Summer Institute in Statistics for Clinical Research (SISCR) is designed to introduce participants to state-of-the-art methodology for biomedical studies, including clinical trials and observational studies. Tentative dates for next year: July 23-27, 2018.
Dates: July 24-28, 2017
Participants choose from a series of one-day day modules and design a program best-suited to their interests. Prerequisites are minimal for most modules. Individuals attending the institute will receive certificates of course completion in recognition of their participation.
New Modules for 2017
- Modern Statistical Learning Methods for Observational Biomedical Data and Applications to Comparative Effectiveness Research
- Methods for Developing and Evaluating Prediction Models for Dynamic Decision-Making
- Bayesian methods for clinical research has been expanded and now includes an introductory module and a follow-up module that focuses on computational methods and applications.
