I grew up in Jinan, China before moving to Hangzhou, where I received my B.S. in Biological Sciences from Zhejiang University. A few years later I graduated from University of Rochester, NY, with Ph.D. in Genetics and continued working on human embryonic stem cell and cancer research in U Washington, Institute for Stem cells & Regenerative Medicine. I am currently pursuing MS study in Biostatistics with interests of statistic genetics and methodology utilized in clinical trials. Other than study, I am a music lover, cooking enthusiast, and animal protector.
