Hi! I am Xiudi. I am a PhD student here at UW biostatistics. I come from Fushun, a beautiful small city in northeastern China. I finished my undergraduate at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.
I am currently working on statistical inference in high-dimensional settings with Professor Ali Shojaie. We hope to develop valid inference procedures for non-standard data structure and procedures that require fewer assumptions. I am also an RA for Professor Susanne May, and we develop methods for predictive subgroup identification and selection in clinical trials. For my independent study, I am working with Professor Ken Rice on Bayesian method for logistic regression that is robust to model misspecification.
In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, badminton, hiking and playing my saxophone from time to time.
