I am a fifth year PhD candidate in Biostatistics at the University of Washington in Seattle. Before coming to Seattle, I obtained a BA degree in Economics and Mathematics from Carleton College in Northfield, MN.

My research focuses on developing hypothesis testing methods for high-dimensional linear models, graphical models and time-series models. Throughout my PhD studies, I have worked with Dr. Ali Shojaie on several projects regarding high-dimensional hypothesis testing methodologies, which have numerous applications in genomics, phylogenetic and brain imaging studies. Besides high-dimensional inference, I am also broadly interested in machine learning, causal inference and longitudinal data analysis.

In 2017 April, I will join Google Research, working on artificial intelligence.
