I am a student on the PhD program. I come from Guatemala and completed my undergraduate mathematics degree at the University of Guanajuato, México. My current research interests are on statistical genetics, longitudinal studies, biomarkers and clinical trials.
Currently working with Ruth Etzioni on a project to evaluate the performance of a new biomarker against the performance of the Gold standard test on a longitudinal study. Also beginning as a Research Assistant with Elizabeth Brown, on a project related with prevention of HIV.
I am a member of the UW Archery club and in my free time I enjoy reading, writing and painting with watercolors (although I'm terrible at it).
